Yuri on Ice Season 2 Spoilers, and Release Date: Sources Suggest Year-End Release?

Yuri on Ice by MAPPA Studios is anime's most talked about series due to its different approach to the world of figure skating. The anime series creator, Mitsurou Kubo, together with the cast of Yuri on Ice, hinted what's in store for Yuri on Ice Season 2.

The show ended December 2016, many have speculated that the show's second installment is bound to be released January 2017. Other's suggests that most likely the show will be published in October of 2017 since Season one was issued by that timeframe. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, sources suggest that Yuri on Ice Season 2 will be released before the year ends.

According to Celebeat, Mitsuri Kubo stated that she is finishing the entire sequel in 2017. Thus, the Japanese sports anime TV series is expected to arrive before the year ends. Since the show's release date is still uncertain, sources speculate that Yuri on Ice Season 2 will focus on the past of Yuri Katsuki. Also, based on the recent report by IB Times, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, the voice of Yuri, stated that the anime creator has some new ideas in mind for the sequel.

It appears that Yuri and Viktor's coach-student relationship will reach to greater heights. Many believe Yuri on Ice Season 2 will not just be Yuri's preparation for the competition, but also the real affection and declaration of love between two leading characters.
