2017 Mini Clubman Cooper S does not seem mini at all as it boasts of its big-time specs and performance. The new Clubman has been reviewed and check out what experts say about this not-so-mini anymore Cooper.

Despite the long 280 miles journey on a nasty road, the Clubman still provided a comfortable ride, better than the standard Mini Hardtop. The analyst also pointed out that the longer wheelbase adds support to a smooth ride on the highway.

The 2017 Mini Clubman Cooper S delivers 180 bhp and 207 lb-ft of torque. During the test drive, the turbo immediately spools up in acceleration.

The 2017 Mini Clubman Cooper S also coursed through muds and large puddles. However, the four-wheel-drive fared well in contacting the slippery roads.

In addition, as it was storming hard during the review, the car overcame the wind beating as well. It was also noted at the review of Motortrend that despite the strong wind hurdles, there was no difficulty in steering the wheel to stick with the car's lane.

In comparison with the previous Clubman, the full-size rear doors of the new Clubman provide ample space for accessing the car. It was noted that it was good that the half doors of the former were already improved.

With regard to space, the new Clubman can host four adult passengers. Aside from the passengers, overnight bags may also fit in the cargo area.

In another review, the 2017 Mini Clubman's 1.5L 3-cylinder engine has been deemed very efficient. A direct injection fuel system and Valvetronic lifts were also included in this twin turbocharged engine.

Furthermore, with this powerful engine, drivers can maintain 34 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. This suggests that fuel consumption is not compromised by power.

Looking at the cockpit, the entertainment system is compact in its circular shape with bright light support. Passengers can also easily connect their mobile devices to the MINI Connected music and phone services found in the system to activate Spotify or Pandora. In addition, music lovers will appreciate the 6-speaker audio system in the new 2017 Mini Clubman Cooper S and the easy touchscreen controls, Mininyc has noted.
