2017 Chevrolet Trax FWD; SubCompact Crossover, Impressive Transmission, Safety System

Chevrolet introduces its 2017 Trax subcompact crossover at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, which is over the 64.8-inch-tall that offers an easy to maneuver and impressive headroom. The 2017 Chevrolet Trax FWD has been selling fairly well to 400,000 units in worldwide markets since its global debut.

According to Top Speed, the 2017 Chevrolet Trax FWD is a special edition crossover with some black trim, and red dash on the wheels. The sedan looks a little different from the regular plain crossover. It features 6-inch aluminum wheels, impressive LED taillights, and a perfect standard remote starter.

The Chevy is making a turbocharged 1.4-liter Ecotec engine, which comes with sequential multi-port fuel injection and impressive variable valve timing. It offers an output of 138 horsepower at 4,900 rpm. The 2017 Chevrolet Trax gives a 148 pound-feet of torque at 1,850 rpm.

The Trax comes with standard FWD and offers AWD as an available option. It features cog swaps that can be handled by a six-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with ABS and front disc together with rear drum brakes. The Chevy has power steering system and tire pressure monitor, with steel wheels for excellent braking and handling, as noted by Car And Driver.

The 2017 Chevrolet Trax owns a 3151-pound curb weight and provides a slow 9.3-second saunter to 60 mph. The crossover has a 100.6 inches wheelbase, 167.20 inches overall length, 65.2 inches height and a 2805-pound base curb, with a 14-gallon fuel tank capacity.

The latest Chevy highlights a Smart Device Integration, AM/FM Stereo, Auxiliary Audio Input, MP3 Player, and a Wi-Fi Hotspot. It comes with powerful locks system, includes Keyless Entry, and Power Door Locks. The Chevy crossover comes with seamless mirrors, which includes Power Mirrors, Driver Vanity Mirror, and Passenger Vanity Mirror.

The 2017 Chevrolet Trax FWD offers a better safety system, includes Daytime Running Lights, Child Safety Locks, Stability Control, and Traction Control. The car also comes with more secure airbags for safety, which includes front head air bag, rear side airbag, passenger airbag sensor, passenger airbag, front side airbag, knee airbag, rear head air bag, and driver airbag.
