Nico Rosberg Knows That The New Formula One Regulations Will Bring Out The Gladiators Among Race Car Drivers

World Champion Nico Rosberg believes that Formula One drivers are going to be gladiators this year. He believes that the new rules set by Formula One will push drivers to their physical limits.

Rosberg explained that they might see drivers losing wins because they are physically tired. However, Nico Rosberg explained that this is how the sport should be.

He explained that the cars became more monstrous. Rosberg also explained that the new Formula One has brought a lot of hype, BBC reported.

The acclaimed driver explained that he has no regrets on his retirement. Just recently, Nico Rosberg attended the pre-season test at Spain's Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to visit his former teammates.

"There was not one moment when I thought it should be me sitting in that car, Rosberg explained. "It was interesting to realize that and perfect." 

While visiting, Rosberg chatted with his replacement in Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas, Nico Rosberg believes that Bottas is a good driver to challenge Lewis Hamilton. 

Auto World News reported that Lewis Hamilton is actually not comfortable about data sharing among drivers in a team He explained that a certain amount of competition is needed to prove his worth as a race car driver. 

Nico Rosberg believes that Lewis Hamilton is a benchmark racer. He said that his challengers are up for a good battle with Rosberg. As for him, he is really enjoying his retirement.

ESPN reported that he was very happy with how things have gone. Rosberg explained that he is looking forwards to a bright future.

He even said that he expected Mercedes to be awesome this year. Nico Rosberg explained that the Mercedes W08 seemed to be a great car that he says is no surprise.

It can be remembered that Rosberg had two more years remaining on his contract when he decided to retire last year. The world champion seemed to be just happy being on the sidelines and filming short videos in the event, which is now possible in the new Formula One regulations.
