"The Winds of Winter" seems to have a probable release date now. Speculations are now claiming the highly anticipated sixth novel in "A Song of Fire and Ice" will most likely come out when George R.R. Martin celebrates his 70th birthday next year.

As "TWoW" fans continue to clamor for its release, a new theory has surfaced pointing to its potential launch. Since George R.R. Martin will be turning 70 next year, it appears to be an excellent avenue to showcase the much-awaited book as well.

Speculations believe that the new "A Song of Fire and Ice" novel has been preserved to come out as a grand celebration of the renowned author's 70th birthday. However, this theory does not sound good for "TWoW" fans as GRRM is yet to turn 70 on Sept. 20, 2018, the Christian Post has noted.

If this new release date speculation is true, then it would mean that "The Winds of Winter" will come out after the release of "Games of Thrones" season 7. Fans can recall that "TWoW" is the tenth and final episode of "Games of Thrones" season 6. How will this release schedule affect the book's plot?

It seems that the renowned author is quite busy preparing for his next tour. Looking at the official website of George RR Martin, his schedule of next appearance shows he will be gracing the 28th Annual StokerCon in Long Beach, CA on April 27-30. GRRM is one of the guests of honor in the upcoming StokerCon.

These are just speculations on the release date of "TWOW." While waiting for the official release date of the highly anticipated "The Winds of Winter," you may want to settle with this excerpt posted on this link of the official news site from the author's website.
