Nissan's division of luxury vehicle has added the 2017 Infiniti QX50 on the list of must have cars this year. The brand has been in the automotive scene for quite a long time now. No wonder the Infiniti-branded cars have already reached a marketing network over 230 dealers in 15 different countries.

During the Detroit 2017 North American International Auto Show, the model concept has successfully showcased the brand's endeavors for an upcoming generation mid-size crossover. It was also able to express Infiniti's design language, Powerful Elegance.

For QX50's cabin, it shows some strong design and telegraph flowing surfaces. This latest concept is the company's advancement in their future drive support technologies.

The 2017 Infiniti QX50 shows the possibility of the Infiniti's advanced VCT/ VC-Turbo (Variable Compression Turbo) engine application. It offers the drivers a powertrain which substantially adapts and offers both of the power and the efficiency.

According to the Infiniti President, Roland Krueger, "With the unveiling of the QX Sports Inspiration at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show, we showed the future of Infiniti QX models. The new QX50 Concept evolves this concept further and shows how Infiniti could develop its future presence in what is the fastest-growing vehicle segment globally."

The 2017 Infiniti QX50 concept's Variable Compression Turbo comes with an inline-4 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The said engine is capable of providing any ratio compressions from a high performance with 8:1 and 14.1 for a high efficiency.

For the standard engines, there is already a fixed ratio of compression. Nissan's division, Infiniti is aiming and has been keeping its goal to reach a 268 of horsepower and torque in 288-pound feet for the first VC- Turbo engine. Compared to the brand's current inline-4 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 208 of horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, the mentioned numbers above is much better as well as its fuel economy.
