The model first released last 2013 and earned the label as that one Camaro that harbored the classic features of muscle cars from all the models in the lineup. During the debut of the 2018 Chevrolet ZL1 1LE, it was announced that the model is not only the type of muscle car that is track-capable but is also good for burnouts with its updated engine.

The latest model of the franchise was revealed at the Daytona International Speedway during Daytona 500. As reported by Motor Trend, the car was a union of both Camaro versions, the ZL1 and the last-gen Z-28. The package would be installed into the 2018 Camaro ZL1 coupe which will be available for purchase this summer and would be considered as a 3-second car.

The vehicle was able to perform twice as better due to the incorporation of two best features of both versions, the ZL1's 650 lb.-ft. supercharged 6.2L LT4 V-8 engine, and the 1LE's tires with 305s in the front and 325 on the rear. It also has been installed with Goodyear's new Eagle F1 Supercar 3R cup tire design which was design specifically for the 2018 ZL1 1LE. Furthermore, it also runs with a six-speed manual transmission which was described b chief engineer, Al Oppenheiser, as that Camaro which runs a little more of a daily driver compared to the Z/28.

In other news, CNET reported that the monster coupe has a black exterior, included the wheels and mirrors with satin black facades. The hood can be extracted that if retracted, the carbon fiber of the wing would be exposed. On top of which, the vehicle also has lighter weight, has the same interior designs as that of the ZL1 such as the heated and cooled seats, as well as the Performance Data Recorder which was declared a standard feature for the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE.

The Ford Mustang was once labeled as the only reigning muscle car in the industry to date. However, the brand new 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE was created to prove that the American muscle industry cannot prevail without the legendary Bumblebee.
