Tesla may soon incorporate one all-inclusive purchase price. This will include the cost of the car together with lifetime insurance and maintenance.
Many owners are hesitant to trade in their older models because its original price has lifetime free charging. Currently, newer models after January 15 of this year only get 400 kWh of free supercharging credits per year. Asia's Special Package Tesla Price. Now, according to The Next Web, the Silicon Valley company may soon offer an all-inclusive price bundled with insurance and maintenance. One store is already working on it. Asian customers n a pricing package that will cover the full expenses of car ownership. Eventually, the electric vehicle maker hopes to offer these same packages across all markets in the future.
Tech Crunch also added that the Asia package is only a start but ultimately, it is what Tesla wants. The EV maker wants to be able to be able to offer an all-inclusive package price, and they're willing to partner with external insurance providers. However, the company is also considering in-house insurance as an option as well.
The electric vehicle manufacturer's VP of Global Investor Relations commented that while they have been doing this quietly, this is actually critical. Their company's electric vehicles need an insurance company that will take various factors into consideration. The Autopilot safety features and the maintenance costs of the car are no simple matter.
Elon Musk, the company's CEO, also added that they do not want to exclude insurance providers. Rather, they need an insurance provider that can match the electric vehicle's associated risks.
