"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" received an Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing Award by the Writers Guild of America. The game's developer Naughty Dog beat other games like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Far Cry Primal" and "Mr. Robot 1.51exfiltratiOn.ipa."

They were chosen from all the games released on Dec. 1, 2015 to Nov. 30, 2016, that features an on-screen credit. Game Spot reported that writers do not need to be part of the Writers Guild of America to be considered for the award. The game was judge by a panel that includes video game writers.

This is not the first award that the game "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" received. In December, the game won multiple awards that include Best Performance and Best Narrative. Aside from that, the game also received awards for its animation and visual effects. Currently, the game is nominated for awards at the Game Developers Choice Awards and SXSW Awards.

Just recently, Naughty Dog made a new survival mode called Hardcore Mode seemed impossible to finish. The new mode only gives the player a single change to get through 50 waves, according to MXDWN.

"That's right if your team is defeated, you're back to square one. Hardcore Mode is not for the faint of heart-it'll take skill, close teamwork, and careful strategy," the site quoted.

On the other hand, Naughty Dog brought back its classic mode for multiplayer games. Since it was removed in "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" a lot of players wished it back.

Aside from that the developers also repaired the bugs and balance adjustments on their program. They managed to fix several crashes and profile data loss.

They also restored the accounts of the people who lost their profile. They also fixed bugs for the awarded chests that the player cannot access.

These are not the only good thing that happened for players because they are given an inside look in the most epic boss fight in video game history in "Resident Evil 7." Automotive News reported that the boss fight was not part of the original plan of its creators. As for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," it can be safe to assume that the awards they get for their work were not part of their original plan.
