Latest Ford Mustang Will Have A Face Lift, What Are The Changes?

For 52 years, the Ford Mustang has been the longest production of any American muscle car. In fact, the model will continue to evolve with its latest sixth generation model which will be refreshed next year. What are the specs of the classic 'Stang?

Consumers claimed that the Ford Mustang enjoyed its success in the automobile market due to its impressive looks. Apart from which, the vehicle also runs with impressive powertrains that the owners suggested making a style statement is what it needs to further its success in the industry.

As reported by PSFK, the 2018 Ford Mustang will have a facelift. Development sketches of the upcoming model revealed that the car's hood would look different and will be installed with several range adjustments to adhere to safety regulations in various markets. In fact, the upcoming vehicle was featured in the movie "Re-Rendezvous" which hinted fans of the muscle cars what 2018 model would look like. The trailer of the said movie showcased the 'Stang's roaring V8 engine and its VR cool touch reported Auto Blog.

To be more concise, the upgraded 2018 Ford mustang will have the EcoBoost and GT Performance Packs. This will improve the high-performance settings of the vehicle, especially its handling. The Performance Package may be acquired with the automatic and/or convertible versions which are significant changes from its previous manual-and-hard-top-only versions, reported Road and Track.

Due to the upgrades, the vehicle will not have the six-cylinder engine as the 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder and the 5.0L V8 engine will already increase the horsepower and torque of the upgraded model. In fact, they will both have the dual-injection system which increases its compression ratio thereby making the automobile both powerful and efficient.

The 2018 Ford Mustang is expected to be featured at an auto show later this year or early next year. It will be made available for purchase in late 2017 as the 2018 model. Will the changes do justice to the American muscle car's impressive reputation?
