Hagerty's Hot List For 2017 is composed of awesome picks that will surely make you wish you did buy that car. But it's not too late. This insurance provider's list will guide you which 2017 model could make it as a classic in the years to come.

Hagerty has studied closely the market and handpicked the 2017 models that will appreciate in value. Foreign and domestic vehicles are included in the list, although the ones that made it are mostly sports cars, a sedan, and a couple of pickup trucks.

The CEO of Hagerty, McKeel Hagerty, said that in order to qualify for Hagerty's Hot List For 2017, all vehicles must have the "it" factor, making them stand out from the crowd. "In some cases it's power, in some cases it's innovation or drivability, but all of them have the qualities that define a future classic," added the CEO.

In other words, the vehicles must have a 2017 model year and should have price tag of not less than $100,000. So, let's check out which vehicles made it to Hagerty's Hot List For 2017.

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Hagerty crowned the Giulia as the first in its list as it has beaten every car in its category around the iconic Nürburgring-Nordschleife. With a base price of $72,000 and a 3.8-second 0-60mph dash, this vehicle delivers some real performance.

2017 Audi TT RS. Packing a turbocharged inline 5 and an estimated base price of $60,000, this fun sports car boasts a 400 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Its 0-60mph sprint is simply incredible at 3.7 seconds. The Dynamic Plus Package helps amp up its top speed to 174 mph from 155 mph.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The Camaro legend continues as it received performance upgrades. But this perhaps is the most important model to date, thanks to an impressive 650 horsepower and a 3.5-second 0-60mph. With a base price of around $61,140, this vehicle definitely earned the collectability crown.

2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Imagine a truck equipped with the latest in off-road tech. Well, you get Chevy's Colorado that packs more power than the Ford Raptor. But Hagerty notes that its collectability will solely depend on how many will leave the production plant. Perhaps, the lesser, the better this time, for novelty's sake.

Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. This sporty vehicle packs some tech and is a balance of price and performance. Its striking good looks remind you of the 1963 and 1996 Grand Sports models.

2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth. Paying homage to its ancestor, the classic 124 Spider, and sharing its architecture with the Mazda Miata, it is no surprise that this beauty made it to the list. Its 0-60mph is only 6.3 seconds.

2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. A truck that went to the gym, that is the Raptor. Weighing 500 lbs less, it now packs bigger muscles and a more advanced Fox Shox.

2017 Mazda Miata RF. The list wouldn't be complete without the Miata gracing again this year's top 10. It now comes with brand new features with a starting price of $31,555.

2017 Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster. These are also part of Kelley's Blue Book's 2017 Best Resale Value awards. So, it is again no surprise that the 718 made it to Hagerty's list, thanks to its brand new engine, among others.

2017 Toyota 86. Capping off Hagerty's Hot List For 2017 is the reincarnation of the Scion FR-S. It comes in a more aggressive look but with a tuned up agility.

What do you think of Hagerty's Hot List For 2017 that could become future collectibles? If you own one, then nurture it and, maybe one day, you could sell it for 10 times more than what you paid for it.
