2017 Mini Countryman is the Biggest Mini Model Ever Made

The 2017 Mini Countryman is the newest and is considered as a revolutionary car of this year. It has a longer and wider wheelbase and has roomier interior passenger and cargo space.

The 2017 Mini Countryman is a 5-seater crossover that gives the passengers a maximum space experience. The seating position in this new Mini also gives a different SUV-like experience and provides more visibility.

According to Car Advice, the 2017 Mini Countryman has a base price of $39,900 in Australia while it is valued $26,100 in the U.S. The price increased depending on the add-ons. They also noted that this car is in the same league with Mazda CX-3 and Hyundai Tucson.

The wheelbase of the new Mini Countryman is 78mm longer and is 2.9 inches wide, giving the passengers for a more spacious leg room, great for the long country drive. It also has dramatic changes in the interior and cargo space letting making travels more comfortable.

Straitstimes article mentioned that the exterior design was retained, with its wooden trims and wagon-station like body. Although it's not equally as attractive as the previous Mini models, it still has its own unique style. The cockpit is noticeably like the usual Mini, except for some changes like the rectangular air-conditioner vents.

 The car has a 1.5 L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine with 134 hp and a powerful 162 lb-ft torque. The Mini Countryman has an 8-speed automatic transmission with a paddle shift, that offers a top speed of up to 222kph. The car also has a four-wheel-drive-system called All4.
