The German automobile manufacturer Porsche is known for their high-end car models. Previously, the brand's Cayman GT4 was introduced to the public and later reported that it would be followed by the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, which has much higher speed and exhilaration. According to some reports, there were no revelations or any announcement from the company about the said car model.
However, last weekend, an authorized dealer of Porsche in Australia has leaked a hint that the supercar is already on its way and will be introduced very soon. The said leaked information referring to the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS was seen posted on a social media site, Instagram, "Due to high demand, a GT4 RS is on its way with more power and a 4.0L flat-six engine, this limited model will turn heads."
The said post has spread quickly around social media sites and has gathered a lot of attention from car enthusiasts and has been the talk of the weekends. Meanwhile, the Porsche's GT head, Andreas Preuninger, has directly denied every leaked detail. However, he stated that "Never say never." This could mean that the idea is there, but they might still be working and finalizing everything on it.
Later on, the post was removed from the account of Porsche Centre of Brisbane, but there were screenshots of the post that was captured as a proof of the said leaked. Car fans are still hoping that the post may somehow have some truth and looking forward to the arrival of the car model in the upcoming months.
If the speculations were true based on the said post, the model may come with a 4.0-liter flat six engine and produce 500 horsepower which is higher compared to the 385 horsepower of the GT4. As reported, if the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS is on polish now, there are possibilities that it will be one of the presented models of the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2017 this March.
