Nissan Rogue Star Wars Edition: The Saga Continuous At The Chicago Auto Show

Nissan Rouge: Star Wars Edition is a show stopper at the Chicago Auto Show. Guests and even fellow exhibitors can't help but keep their eyes on this limited car edition.

Despite that the movie has been shown months ago, Nissan continued the display to generate more market awareness for the SUV. The mocked up model displayed showed R2 D2 and X-Wings poking through the roof. The Vice-President for Marketing of Nissan confirmed that internet searches for the car have tripled during the event.

CBS Chicago reported that only 5400 units of Nissa Rouge would be manufactured. 5000 units would be for the U.S. market while the remaining 400 will be shipped to Canada. There would be any R-2-D-2 on the units for sale. However, buyers need not fret. Included in every unit will be a numbered storm trooper helmet. All vehicles will sport a special badge of The Rebellion and The Evil Empire.

The Nissan Rogue has a powerful 170 HP 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder engine under the hood. Manufactured in limited quantity is a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine hybrid for those who wish more fuel economy. According to Nissan USA, both models are 4 wheel driven types of vehicle. The bigger version runs between 26 to 33 miles for every gallon consumed. It can comfortably seat 5 people but if you will unfold the 3rd row, it can accommodate 7 people easily. The 3rd row can accommodate cargo space when unused.

Comfort is one thing the Nissan Rogue assure consumers. It is equipped with a Dual Zone Automatic Control. It enables both driver and passenger to control the temperature on either side of the vehicle. Mounted on front centered console is an air-con vent. This will allow to passengers at the back to feel the cool wind of its air-conditioning. Long drive or short drives, in the city or outside expect a comfortable cool ride wherever it may be.
