Toyota Launches TRD Versions of its Sequoia SUV and Tundra Pickup along with a new RAV4 Adventure

Toyota surprisingly launched three new sporty SUVs at the Chicago Auto Show. The Japanese car manufacturer has unveiled TRD models of its Tundra pickup truck and Sequoia SUV along with the new RAV4 adventure.

The new Sequoia TRD, Tundra TRD, and RAV4 Adventure. Toyota has revealed new sport packages for its Tundra pickup and Sequoia full-size SUV as well as an adventure package for the famous RAV4 SUV on Thursday at the Chicago Auto Show.

The 2018 Tundra TRD Sport is available in 4x4 and 4x2 models. It will also be available in CrewMax and double cab configurations. It features LED headlights with daytime running lights and black bezel, black accented 20-inch silver alloy wheels, and a mesh grill that is the same color as the body.

The 2018 Sequoia TRD Sport will also come in 4x4 and 4x2 models. The SUV will feature a 5.7-liter eight-cylinder engine and specially tuned Bilstein shocks and anti-sway bars on both the front and rear improving overall handling. It has a new front grille and bumper, 20-inch wheels just like the Tundra TRD but in black, smoked rear taillights, and mirror caps in gloss black.

The RAV4 has been always considered as a frontrunner in the compact SUV segment. Toyota's new 2018 RAV4 Adventure comes in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive with a standard towing package that includes a better radiator, supplemental transmission fluid and engine oil coolers, and a higher suspension system. The new RAV4 adventure sports 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels in black, lower bodyguards, large over fender flares, headlight bezels in black, and a fog lamp surround also in black. It also features black roof racks along with special adventure badges.

The Sequoia TRD, Tundra TRD, and RAV4 Adventure will hit dealerships sometime in September. Pricing details have yet to be revealed for all three new models.
