"Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" was first launched in 2003. After almost 14 years, the game is still widely played by a loyal fanbase who still continue to enjoy the mods and its lightsaber battles.

Despite being an antedated video game, "Jedi Academy" has been kept alive by mods like Movie Battles. This interesting mod lets players play and fight in the most iconic battles throughout the entire saga.

Kotaku reports that "Jedi Academy" is a multiplayer game that is excellent but sadly underrated and forgotten. The Movie Battles mod takes the fairly standard multiplayer game and jazzes it up with new classes, new maps, and the ability to play as interesting characters like Boba Fett and the series' beloved Han Solo.

For fans of the latest movies, we saw the scruffy nerf herder's demise in "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens." With the upcoming Episode 8, now known to be entitled "The Last Jedi," fans are even more worried. There are many circulating theories revolving around Rey's origin, the fate of Luke Skywalker, the future of Kylo Ren, and the identity of Supreme Leader Snoke.

Fans point out that the word "Jedi" is both singular and plural. It does not mean that the movie will revolve around one remaining Jedi. At the end of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," it is believed that the last Jedi is Luke Skywalker, as revealed by the Episode 7 crawl. Moreover, it is widely believed that Rey is on her way to becoming one as well.

Last year fans of the movie were also heartbroken with the passing of two beloved actors from the original trilogy. Kenny Baker, who plays the droid R2D2, passed away in August and Carrie Fisher, who plays Princess/General Leia, also joined the force in December.

In a recent interview, Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, has revealed that his character's "humanity" will be explored in the upcoming movie. Does this mean that there will be redemption for him or will he continue to be a puppet of the dark side?

"Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" will hit cinemas in December of this year. In the meantime, fans will continue to speculate and hope that the cast of the movie will remain intact until Episode 9.
