A few days ago, the developers at NetherRealm Studios followed through on its guarantee to present another character for Injustice 2 on February 2, by introducing Black Canary as the most recent addition to the game's roster. The company has indicated the next hero or villain uncover date on the title's official site, a similar strategy used to the game's last contender, with the disclosing set to happen on Tuesday, February 7.

NetherRealm Studios didn't give any further information or indications about which character from the sprawling DC Universe would go ahead to be revealed this coming Tuesday. With this being the situation, the reveal could come as a true to life mystery, or a gameplay trailer, which was the means how Damian Wayne was confirmed as Robin in the upcoming release.

Meanwhile, NetherRealm boss Ed Boon has affirmed that the third waves of codes for the progressing beta are going out soon. He said he wishes everybody could get into the beta, however, clarified this is not prone to happen.

The beta keys that were provided by the NetherRealm were insufficient to cover every one of the players who wanted to enter the "Injustice 2" beta play. The beta keys rapidly ran out after the release because of the unforeseen demand. In spite the fact that the developers will give another set of beta codes, they have decided to stick to their plan on not to permit every one of the players to have an early access to the upcoming game.

Up until this point, confirmed playable characters of the game includes Black Canary, Robin, Brainiac, Poison Ivy, Bane, Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Darkseid, Aquaman, and Atrocitus. It would seem that there will be 19 extra characters in the full game, along with nine DLC characters.

The game is a continuation of the 2013 title Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game sequel takes after the storyline of its previous game, which demonstrates another DC Universe where the Joker deceived Superman into executing Lois Lane. The disaster transformed the superhero into a despot. Injustice 2 is set to launch on May 16, 2017, for Android and iOS gadgets, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
