Kawasaki KLX140G: Perfect Off-Road Motorcycle For Beginners

Kawasaki has introduced the final bike to complete the KLX family, the KLX140G. This off-road motorcycle features full-size wheels, comfortable ergonomics and light handling that is appreciated by riders of all skills.

The Kawasaki KLX140G is powered by carbureted 144cc air cooled and four-stroke single cylinder engine, which comes with mated to a five-speed transmission. It has a cylinder bore of 2.28-inch and stroke of 2.14-inch, which its motor is oversquare and the cylinder bore is greater than the stroke.

The motorcycle rides on 33mm telescopic forks up front and adjustable Uni-Trak suspension at the rear.  The 33 mm telescopic front fork gets 190 mm of wheel travel while the Uni-Trak rear suspension and aluminum shock body gets 200 mm of wheel travel. The rear has fully adjustable preload, four-way compression damping, and 22-way rebound damping.

When it comes to brakes, the latest motorcycle offers a single disc in the front-rear. The gears are supplied by an automatic gearbox with 5 speeds. It also features a full-size lightweight aluminum rim that offers comfort and performance on the trail. It offers an open ergonomics for a roomy riding position.

The prominent features include long travel suspension, off-road tires, and minimalistic bodywork. The motorcycle is built around a box style and high tensile steel frame. It has a handlebar supported with a rubber mounted to reduce vibration transferred to the rider's hands for enhanced comfort. It also comes with a stylish two-tone seat that uses a slip-resistant top surface for good grip when seated and a smooth side for excellent rider mobility.

The new Kawasaki KLX140G  is equipped with  21-inch front and 18 inch rear spoke wheels for off-roading in rough terrains. It has a low seat height of 860mm and a curb weight of just 99kg for easy maneuverability of the motorcycle in rough terrains. Overall, the bike is very versatile for the transitional rider. It is the perfect off-road motorcycle for beginners.
