Updates on "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" movie reveal the project is "back at square one." Franchise creator Scott Cawthon shared the issues they have encountered in doing the project. Fans were warned not to expect any "FNaF" trailer soon.

Scott Cawthon recently posted some updates via a Steam Community as he has promised to provide details on the status of the "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" movie. The creator explained that significant discussions are still in progress so the updates he can provide are quite limited.

Scott Cawthon admitted that the "FNaF" movie encountered "several delays and roadblocks" last year. Fans can recall that the movie was teased in September last year and unfortunately, the creator is saying that they had difficulty proceeding with the movie at the start of production.

According to Scott Cawthon, the "FNaF" movie is "back at square one." The delay stemmed out from some issues encountered within the movie industry.

However, the creator also explained that although they are back to the early stages of production, it would mean they can ensure things are ironed out and will be able to produce the right movie now.

In addition, Scott Cawthon confirmed that things are in order and on the right track now. He also mentioned that he has decided to be completely involved now with the "FNaF" movie beginning from day one.

The downside is that, since the "FNaF" movie project has been delayed, fans were also warned not to expect any trailer soon. Scott Cawthon acknowledged that his update might cause disappointment to some fans, but he also teased that fans can expect heaps of "great things" to unfold this year.

Meanwhile, fans can settle with the mobile version of "Five Nights At Freddy's World" while waiting for the movie. However, Scott Cawthon also warned that the game is still far from perfection.
