Honda has been one of the best car manufacturers the world over. It has consistently produced quality vehicles and the 2018 Honda CR-V is the latest addition. It is not officially released, and already it is gaining momentum and excitement because of its latest offering to car buyers.

According to Auto Express UK, the 2018 Honda CR-V will be a complete departure from the usual staple of Honda. It has always been a five-seater crossover since it first came out of the market several years ago. Much to the delight of car enthusiasts, this upcoming CR-V will be a seven-seater. This is following the Nissan X-trail which was released back in 2014 making it big especially in Southeast Asia.

The upcoming CR-V is also reported to wider compared to its predecessors to make space for the third row and bigger boot. Not only will it rival Nissan X-trail as earlier reported, but also the likes of Kia Sorento and Land Rover Discovery Sport. Space and size definitely come to play and Honda is sure to lead the pack.

The CR-V is the undisputed highest-selling SUV in the US market and Honda has every intention to keep it that way. Honda is on top in terms of delivering the demands of the buying public which makes it easy to understand why it always prevails among other brands. Not only will the 2018 Honda CR-V be big in the U.S., but it is expected to also take the UK and European market by storm.

As added by Car and Driver, the 2018 Honda CR-V modular chassis will also support the next-generation Accord sedan. The current 103.1-inch wheelbase is expected to be larger as the entire body of the vehicle will grow in size. It is reported to match that of Civic's 106.3-inch wheelbase.

It is also expected that the 2018 Honda CR-V will be packed with power as it comes with 174-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo four as its standard engine. The front-wheel drive will also come as a standard with all-wheel drive as a welcome option.

There is no official word for the release of 2018 Honda CR-V. However, it is expected to be anytime 2017, most likely during the first half as the 2018 model. Not long from now, the CR-V is again expected to be one of the fastest selling vehicles upon official release.
