The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport certainly is one of the most anticipated smaller crossovers to be brought to the US. According to Motor Trend, the Nissan Rogue Sport is originally named as Qashqai, however, it was changed into a rather easier name that would ring a bell. The change of name was one of the best decisions. The name Rogue Sport certainly has this certain catch to it, giving the crossover a masculine, tough, and unique appeal.

It is considered a compact crossover. It is a five-passenger which is 12.1-inches longer with an extra 2.2-inches of wheelbase. It does have an available third row, extending the passenger load to about seven. The Rogue Sport is ideal for solo drivers or couples who want to enjoy the smaller vehicle to themselves. The Rogue version is then ideal for family and those who wish to have more passengers for a more exciting driving experience.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport still offers 6.1 cubic feet of cargo space with the second-row seats folded down. When the second-row is being utilized, it then gets reduced to 23 feet. The compact crossover shares a lot of equipment including the Divide-N-Hide Cargo system that keeps items out of sight. This is only available on SV and SL trims.

This impressive crossover is powered by a direct-injection 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It is capable of generating 141-horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 147 pound-feet torque at 4,400 rpm. This smaller crossover is packed with the necessary power needed when driving.
