Jeep Wrangler Apache: Unique And Iconic Four Wheel-Drive

The Jeep Wrangler Apache is one of the nation's unique and iconic vehicles wears its heritage with pride. It comes with four-wheel drive, round headlamps and Jeep's signature seven-slat grille.

The jeep's roof is made of industrial strength plastic and can be unfastened to make it a Targa-top. It can also be completely removed altogether to make it an open top vehicle that allows a better view of surroundings while off-roading.

It is capable of seating four passengers and holding 17.2 cubic feet of cargo. As an off-road designed vehicle, the jeep's interior is capable of being hosed down and drain to clear it of dirt and mud. It also supported with modern tech amenities like satellite navigation, a USB input, 115-volt power outlet, an auxiliary input and satellite radio.

It featured a four-speed slushbox and wheezy 202 horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine. The jeep is producing 285 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 260 pound-feet torque at 4800rpm. The alterations for the jeep application include a different intake system contributing to that torque and a revised oil pan to prevent starvation to steep angles and the transfer of the alternator to the top of the block in the interest of water fording.

Jeep Apache is supported with an Electronic Stability Control that senses when the driver begins to over or under steer. It also applies to individual brakes and controls throttle as needed to help put back on track.

The Electronic Roll Mitigation determines when a rollover may occur and applies braking force to help reduce the possibility of an accident. It offers All-Speed traction Control with special calibrations for driving in 4LO, which is a Brake Assist System and a four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system for improving vehicle control and decreasing stopping distances on both dry and slippery surfaces.

It comes with a Remote Keyless Entry System which let the driver lock or unlocks doors or the liftgate flip-up window from up to 50 feet away. The Sentry Key is an anti-theft engine immobilizer that makes it almost impossible for anyone to go inside the vehicle with no valid key to driving. Finally, the Jeep Wrangler Apache found to move about with confidence and ease rarely found in highly modified or custom vehicle.
