For those people who love the performance, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a bargain. The vehicle can set you on a fast lane with just 450 hp. However, to rocket at such high speeds need special skills. Not many have the skill to pilot the vehicle. So, Ford comes to rescue with the Raptor Assault program at its Ford Performance Racing School in Utah.

"The all-new F-150 Raptor was designed to be the ultimate, no-compromise off-road pickup with its cutting edge internal bypass suspension, six-mode Terrain Management System and 450 horsepower EcoBoost engine with massive amounts of torque," Henry Ford III said, marketing manager for Ford Performance. "The off-road terrain near Ford Performance Racing School offers a diversity of challenges and is perfectly suited to showcase the high-performance capabilities of the Raptor."

The aim of the program is to bring out the best in the owners so that they can get the best out of their Raptors. In the program, there are classroom sessions that explore Raptor's features such as time trials, rock crawling, Baja-style runs, side-hilling, and hill descent and braking procedures, reported Motor Trend.

During the program, the customers, at an additional cost, can opt for a session on the Ford's Mustang GT. "We're looking forward to the excitement, training, and thrills Raptor Assault will deliver to owners of the 2017 truck," said Dan McKeever, president of Ford's Performance Racing School. "The new Raptor is an incredible truck, and our facility is the perfect venue to demonstrate just what it can do off-road."

This is not the first time that Ford has ventured into something like this. It was already successful with other ventures such as this like the GT350 Track Attack, ST Octane Academy, and RS Adrenaline Academy. Similar to the others, Raptor Assault will take place at the Utah Motorsports Campus, reported Off Road Xtreme.

At the Ford Performance Racing School, the customers will be provided with school Raptors. This is taking into consideration the fact that the customers do not ruin their personal vehicles. They are also provided with the necessary gear to maintain personal safety such as helmets and gloves. The classes can be registered at Raptorassault.com.
