Consumers must be ready for a close battle of the smartphones as the anticipated launch of the Galaxy S8, and iPhone 8 are coming soon. With the growing anticipation as to which of these smartphones are better - with all its new features and more, many consumers can't wait to see what these smartphones can offer this 2017.

Leaks and rumors are consistently being seen all over the news about the two new smartphones and people can't wait as to when it will be released and what it will look like. According to ForbesSamsung had unintentionally confirmed that there is a new phone and it is the Galaxy S8.

With the new Samsung Galaxy S8, one of the significant changes is the reduced bottom and top bezels to give a magnificent new look. The reduction of these bezels will allow the Galaxy S8 to have larger screens and will also have curved "edge" displays.

However, the iPhone8 as reported by Tech Radar,  is also expected to do the same change. It will also have reduced bezels and the display will also be larger. Both Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 are said to be removing their physical home buttons to make room for the bezels at the bottom. The fingerprint sensors will also be moved under their screens.

Apple will be having three new phones this year; the iPhone 8 and two other successors of the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 will be having a 5.8 OLED display that resembles a "fixed flex" screen which is commonly seen on Samsung Galaxy models. They will also imbed the Face Time camera and earpiece to the OLED display.

However, what would really set apart these 2 smartphones is the price once they are released in the market. From the rumors and leaks going around, Samsung is said to have a higher price upon releasing their new Galaxy S8 but Apple will be keeping the same entry price for its iPhone 8. There is still no exact date as to when these smartphones will be released this year.
