Toyota is at it again for gaining the trust of the buying public. The new 2017 Toyota Corolla adds to the list for being Toyota's fast-selling and best-selling car to date. The Corolla has been a household name for decades and it is easy to understand why it has always been the case. Toyota news ceases to stop and the all-new Corolla is packed with features enough to further capture the hearts of Americans.

According to Car and Driver, this reputation is not likely to change. The 2017 Toyota Corolla brings slightly revised looks and newly available active safety features to the eleventh generation of the compact car. Even better, there is a special 50th Anniversary Corolla which falls nothing short of standard features and visual flair.

The updated Corolla catches up in terms of its safety features which Toyota prides itself on having. All 2017 Toyota Corolla comes with Toyota Sense P which includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and assist. The Toyota Sense P also has an automatic high-beam headlights.

Many car enthusiasts and vehicle critics, however, are disappointed because the new Corolla has not made any mechanical changes. It still uses 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to either a six-speed manual, four-speed automatic, or a CVT automatic. There are also no known changes in the car's chassis. It is expected to continue producing 132 horsepower as standard or 140 horsepower when equipped with Toyota's Valvematic.

As added by Consumer Reports, the 2017 Toyota Corolla delivers a relatively comfortable ride for a small car. It also boasts of a quiet and spacious interior. Handling is considered lackluster but still is highly secured. Its continuously variable transmission is enough to deliver the much-needed power and thrust. It also has excellent fuel economy at 32 mpg overall.

One of the best features of 2017 Toyota Corolla is for having the roomiest and spacious rear seat in the given category. Sure, it is not a perfect car as nothing really is. However, with its practicality and affordability, it makes for a good car to drive still making it as one of America's favorite car.
