AirTV Supports Up To 4K Resolution And Plays Thousand Movies Via Netflix, Sling TV, and Youtube

The Android streaming device offers access to thousands of movies, TV shows, apps and it is a TV based media player with access to Netflix, Sling TV, YouTube and Google Play Store. The device can also play local over-the-air channels for free, additional AirTV adaptor and OTA antenna which is separately sold.

Mitch Weinraub, Director of Product Development for AirTV said that the majority of the Americans are rediscovering free local, over-the-air TV for shows, news, and sports particularly the streaming platforms like Netflix, Sling TV, and YouTube. AirTV's new streaming device and antenna installation service provide entertainment as easy as turning on the TV.

One of the key features is the pre-loaded apps such as AirTV player including Netflix, Sling TV and YouTube for easy access to popular streaming content. A Sling TV account and Netflix membership are necessary in order to have an access to those apps.

It also has a Google Play Store to download apps and games. The Netflix integration with just one click to the button, the user can launch directly into their selected Netflix content with the Netflix app. Users with no Netflix subscription can still enjoy it by signing up and start watching TV shows and movies.

Another feature includes 4K compatibility, Wi-Fi compatible and Bluetooth voice remote. The remote controls the AirTV Player via Bluetooth. The remote also features voice capability and can control power and volume on any connected TV or sound system.

The device box appears to have a white and blue fair that ships with a colorful voice-control remote with Netflix button. The second button for Google hints at the device's Android-powered roots.

AirTV also includes a one year warranty. Users need a minimum download speed of 3 Mbps for SD video or 5 Mbps for HD video and connected to HDMI cable on the TV. The subscribers will only need one AirTV device per television.
