Hey Subie fans, check out the changes happening for the Subaru 2018 WRX and STI! A mild update is up and coming with its exterior body and few notable tweaks can be seen with these 2018 Subaru models.

The WRX has a modified power electric steering, modified shifter and clutch actuation for a smoother engagement and better feel. It also has an integrated EPS component that helps in reducing its weight while driving.

The STI, on the other hand, gets significant brake upgrades. These new Brembo brakes feature 6-piston calipers in front and 2-piston units behind which is all painted with a rich yellow hue. This comes with cross-drilled rotors to provide better heat dissipation and stopping power.

Both Subaru 2018 WRX and STI have been given large lower grille openings with additional black trim to have an aggressive look. The limited WRX and STI models also have LED headlights that turn and come with various interior tweaks such as a door glass that is thicker and windshield headers with foam to make the car more quiet. They both have brand new rear armrests that include cup holders, roof rack mounting brackets and better quality interior materials. Aside from that, they both have all around re-tuned suspension

One notable change for both WRX and STI is the 8-way power adjustable Recaro seats. These seats are available in WRX new Performance Package models, which is perhaps one of the biggest changes in this package and optional on standard STI models.

Lastly, if ever users encountered a fender-bender, the upgraded front crash structure will provide increased protection. Doesn't that sound good to all Subie fans out there?

However, there's still no word of what is the cost of these brand new upgraded models or when is the exact release. But consumers will definitely be in the loop once it is already available in the market.
