"Dynasty Warriors 9," the latest in a series of Japanese combat video games, is coming soon in an open-world version. Although similar to its predecessor, the "Dynasty Warriors 9" will enjoy some changes such as a single-game map of China as it was described in the historical novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," on which the plot of the game was based.

Aside from being a 15th anniversary offering, the "Dynasty Warriors 9" is considered the rebirth of the series and everything seems new: from the huge map of China to the open-world setting. Aside from a new map, new characters will also be added to the 83 already existing ones. One of these characters is Zhou Cang, a character in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms."  This is part of the management's effort to give gamers an entirely different gaming experience, according to Game Spot.

In "Dynasty Warriors 9", gamers will go on new missions and encounter numerous challenges as they explore the vast landscape on foot or on horseback. In their journey, they will come upon villages that will give them supplies and clues as they proceed with their mission, according to Digital Trends.

Fans of the "Dynasty Warriors 9" are excited about the changes to be made and many have been asking why this was never done before. They are preparing for the release so they'll be able to have an enjoyable experience playing the game, according to GamenGuide.

While lots of speculation regarding the release date of "Dynasty Warriors 9" has been circulating, the exact date for the release has never been announced. However, there are rumors that it will be released in 2017 as a way of marking the 20th year of the series. When it comes to the platform for its release, many are expecting that it will be the Play Station 4.
