The 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV and its AMG G63 version was spotted testing in the snow. The 600hp SUV will debut later in 2017 loaded with new features on a mechanical level but probably not an aesthetic one, as spy video show that it looks almost the same as the G Class for the past couple of years. Earlier this month, the first spy shot of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV made the rounds online and today it has been spotted again. This time, it performed in a snowy environment where the brand is conducting the usual winter testing. Spy videos captured two units of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV as well as one unit of its new version AMG G63, reported by AutoEvolution.

From what we can see in the spy video, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV may slightly differ from previous generations, as it retains its square features with very vertical planes and sharp edges. That boxy design was more typical of cars a few decades ago but has survived until today thanks to the success of the G-Class, a model that refuses to die and remains a benchmark in the segment.

With the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV, one will find huge changes in the mechanical section. Even though the outside will remain very similar to the previous model, internally it will be very different, as said my Motor1.

The dimensions of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV will change. It is rumored that it could grow to 10 centimeters in total length and in the same way the width will also widen.
