Vikings TV Series Spoilers, News & Update: Katheryn Winnick Has Taken To Play Black Canary

It seems like we cannot stop the DC films from giving out more from their casts. One of the most popular superhero is Black Canary of Justice League. Recently, Katherine Winnick gave a statement that she is interested to play the Black Canary role. We cannot take it away from Wiinncik, since she has a vast experience when it comes to superhero roles.

As the fanatics continues to scream for more of DC Films, we cannot simply let what Katheryn Winnick spilled out. Katheryn Winnick gave a hint that she wants to play the part of Back Canary of DC Film Justice League. Black Canary, spouse of Green Arrow was the alter ego of Dinah Drake. Black Canary later on realized that she has superpower of a world - class martial artist. She also has the power to shatter objects could shatter and impaired criminal forces, called "The Canary Cry".

Kathryn Winnick played the role of the first wife of Ragnar Lothbrok, Lagertha in Vikings. According to Wikia, Lagertha is known as a strong shield-maiden who fights along with his fellow Vikings. She continues protecting her family and the throne fiercely, though she suffered a lot from the loss of her children and from rejection.

According to Winnick, with the vast experience she has in playing the role of a warrior, she may have the idea on how she's going to roll the play of Black Canary. She may not be that familiar with the superhero role of Black Canary, but she said, she is best fit for it. Winnick is grateful for Vikings, since it gave her the experience of being a fierce but compassionate warrior.

There is no doubt that Viking's Katheryn Winnick could definitely play the role of Black Canary without a cut out. According to history.com, Winnick is a third-degree Taekwondo black belter and a Karate second-degree black belter. She already managed to own three martial arts schools at the age of 21. Before pursuing to be a successful actress in New York and in Los Angeles,  Winnick also completed her university education at York University, Toronto.
