When a Shelby GT350 go against a Mustang GT with a supercharged engine, you have an intense battle of the Mustangs. When two mustangs battle it out on a drag strip battle, which will reign victorious? BAR conducted this battle and the result was unexpected.

Ford's Mustang is revered as the best racing car ever. The renowned car company continues to manufacturer and tune their Mustang series as well as its other racing vehicles per consumer demands. Two notable race cars are the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT350.

The Mustang GT is known for its performance. Straight from the factory, Mustang GT rides guttural rumble of torque acceleration delivering 435 horsepower, as portrayed on their Ford site. The supercharged engine intends to maximize power with every compression, and the 5.0L exhaust that gives it an impressive edge that adds to its awesome power.

On the other hand, the latest Shelby GT350 is the Mustang of the future with its superb racing credentials. It is built for the track and pumped for action with 526 horsepower, and 429 lb-ft of torque acceleration allowing the Shelby GT350 to seemingly fly while on the ground. The exhilarating driving experience is due to its 5.2L V8 engine, Ford's highest- revving production of the V8 engine to date.

In the Motor1 page, the two Mustangs outrun each other on a drag race. Despite the huge difference in the two Mustang's horsepower, Mustang GT won. The Mustang GT used in the race had a supercharged engine. It was not indicated how much the supercharger kit added horsepower to the Mustang GT, but it was enough to outrun the Shelby GT350. Another angle to look into for the unprecedented win of the Mustang GT is that Shelby GT350 are built for corners, while the Mustang GT had drag race advantage with an engine that can readily launch and catapult itself when the lights turn green.
