2016 witnessed the release of 2016 Shelby Terlingua Mustang packed with a super engine boasting of a 750-horsepower due to its V8 Whipple supercharger. Stakes are raised with the increase in engine power with the ability to propel the vehicle from zero to 60 in just 3.5 seconds.

The famous black and yellow visage of the Shelby Terlingua Mustang, complete with its iconic logo of "rabbit holding its paw in the air" used by the legendary Terlingua Racing Team in the 1960's, made a revival last 2007 with the launch of the limited edition V-6-powered Mustang. This year, another limited edition of Shelby Terlingua Mustang had its debut.

According to Top Speed, only 50 units of 2016 Shelby Terlingua Mustang will be released. The new model has a supercharged V8 engine, Shelby Brembo 6-piston brakes, Eibach adjustable suspension and the latest Ford Performance half shafts that are worth its starting price of $65,999.

Its exterior is similar to the Shelby GT with the color scheme of yellow and black stripes which flows down the trunk area. Car owners are given the option to have it with another color combo: black and yellow hood with graphics. A bulging carbon-fiber hood with front splitter, Terlingua spoiler, and Weld Racing wheels also adds to its aesthetic design which is similar to the GT350, according to Yahoo News.

Everything in its interior screams Shelby Terlingua Mustang: from the race-inspired seats, yellow jackrabbit logo on its headrest, dash pods built with three gauges and custom-made door sill plates with matching floor mats. Stamping its uniqueness is the addition of a numbered dash plaque.

The special edition 2016 Shelby Terlingua Mustang is a pure muscle car. Mixed reviews were given by car enthusiasts. But the sixth-gen Mustang sporting the same colors that Jerry Titus' mustang used to have, with its upgraded horsepower, has its undeniable appeal. Here is a video of the GT350 mustang and its specs.
