There have been speculations that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" reshoots are happening right now. The most recent victim to fall for a reshoot was "Fantastic Four." And outside the universe of Marvel movies, it's "Suicide Squad" and even the upcoming "Star Wars Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." It appears that reshoots are becoming some sort of recent trend in movies, not that the results of reshoots are always a bad thing anyway.

The latest to fell prey into a reshoot is the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" reshoots are confirmed when British actress Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula in the upcoming sequel, tweeted about it, based on reports by IGN.

Her tweet is a one-liner, along with her other comments, so no other concrete details and potential spoilers are revealed. Her hashtags however, offer some form of assurance that the reshoots wouldn't have a negative effect and shouldn't be a cause of alarm and concern for the overall well-being of the sequel.

Vin Diesel is also going to be the voice actor for Groot again, Den of Geek posted on their official website. The same thing is expected for other actors and actresses to return for the sequel to portray their respective characters.

The first "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie were a huge gamble for Marvel, being one of their lesser known franchises. This paid off big time, however, when the movie turned out to be a huge hit. Marvel might have to mostly thank Rocket Raccoon for that.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" reshoots shouldn't be a cause of alarm, if there is anything fans should worry about, it's the possibility of Howard the Duck having a major role.
