After the arrival of the 2017 Audi A5 Sportback at the Paris Motor Show, it is the turn of the convertible version, bumping into a neat four - seater with the Audi A5 Cabrio. Hinged on an architecture that stands as one of the stiffest in its class, the new Audi A5 has 40 percent more torsional rigidity than the previous generation, while reduced its weight to 40 kg as reported by AutoExpress

The new A5 Cabrio holds no surprises in terms of its image. Equipped with the fabric roof that is same with its predecessors. This can be opened or closed even while running up to 50 kilometers per hour, and its multiple layers allow you to further isolate outside noise. The hood is automatically activated with one touch and takes 15 seconds to fold (18 seconds closed).

The Audi A5 Cabrio boasts some additional reinforcements to compensate for the absence of the roof, it has a series of anti - roll bars properly hidden until the moment the roof is opened. Inside it also increased the available space from the previous generation, both shoulder height to the knees of the passengers, 26 and 18 mm respectively, making available boot space with the hood at 380 liters.
