A 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser with 2000hp, a sporty Toyota Prius, an impressive Toyota 86 and a bunch of Toyota Corollas wow at the 2016 SEMA car show. A total of thirty presentations was showcased by Toyota as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Corolla.
Toyota has been aggressive in this year's SEMA Car show showcasing about 30 modified and tuned cars that totally impressed the audience. Amongst them are the 2000hp Toyota Land Cruiser, a sporty Toyota Prius, an impressive Toyota 86 and a bunch of Toyota Corollas to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The Corolla is one of the best selling cars in the history and therefore, it is just right that it is one of the largest exhibitions in the history of SEMA as well.
2016 Land Cruiser - One Of The Best In SEMA History
Topping the plethora of Toyota models showcased in SEMA Car Show is the 2016 Land Cruiser named "speed" which is very much the right name for it as it produces a 2000hp able to reach more than 350 kilometers per hour speed limit. Making it the fastest SUV on the face of the Earth as reported by Autoblog.
To achieve these figures, the Toyota Twin Turbo Land Cruiser has been prepared giving its V8 5.7-liter engine with a turbo Garrett system - the size of a volleyball according to Toyota - which has required them to equip a bulging hood, and also optimized aerodynamic terms, as you see in the video of the land cruiser below.
Keep in mind that a La Ferrari has the same figures in top speed which is definitely incredible for an SUV. Sadly production of those 2016 Land Cruiser will not be possible and will just remain as one of SEMA's best showcased in history.
Other Toyota At SEMA Car Show
In addition to the Land Speed Cruiser, Toyota has another interesting preparation in the form of the Swagger Wagon . A preparation for the Toyota Sienna MPV which is described as a private jet on wheels, where luxury is the main motif of this work. Heavily modified externally, where we find race inspired elements, some of them even made of carbon fiber, inside is where you really find its value. It shows a luxurious interior completely covered in leather in which the latest technologies take command. This has WiFi connectivity and an impressive technological display of audiovisual material.
This year holds the first half century of the Toyota Corolla , as we saw at the time, so the brand has prepared an exhibition specially created to commemorate this anniversary. With the sample of several classic examples of the Corolla, but we can also find more modern variants, like XTREME Corolla, another brutal preparation radicalized by American compact, transforming it into a two-door coupe looking and a large interior preparation, with new JBL sound system included.
Although it may seem strange, the Toyota Prius is also the subject of one of these sports preparations, according to AutoGuide. The hybrid vehicle has been refitted and its circuit for use are made better. Depending on the brand, with the Prius G they have been able to reach up to 0.99 g in the layout of Willow Springs International Raceway.
Other models presented are the Tacoma TRD radical version of Pick-Up which is marketed in North America and the CS-Cup variant of the Toyota 86, which until a few months ago was sold under the Scion brand.
