Chevy Silverado Incentive of $11,115 On-Going; 2017 Edition To Debut In SEMA This November

Chevrolet has rolled out a lucrative incentive package for the recently released 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. The package was rolled out last September by General Motors to entice pickup buyers.

Not to be outdone, Fiat has offered a similar incentive package for its Ram pickup trucks. However, Fiat's incentive is only worth $7,082. Ford had the least amount of incentives falling only at $5,173, for its F-150 models, according to 24/7 Wall St.

These incentives have truly delivered their end goal. Sales for utility vehicles or popularly referred to as UTEs rose significantly. The packages were implemented to encourage sales. Pickup truck sales have reached a glass ceiling according to Jess Schuster, Senior Vice President of LMC Automotive.

Schuster said, "sales forecast is basically flat from 2015 to 2018," according to Trucking Info. Schuster further disclosed, "a large number of off-lease vehicles creates more used car substitutes for new car sales."

Though the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado is still in most dealership showrooms, 2017 is already on the horizon. The 2017 Chevrolet Silverado HD Carhartt 2500 Concept will be unveiled this November at MC automative's event, according to I4U News.

Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet's Marketing Director for trucks, disclosed that the truck will be Jet Black. And will feature Carhartt's signature duck brown garb logo. The 2017 Silverado 2500HD Carhartt concept will be showcased in a two-tone flash carbon exterior. It will also include a matte finish just above its beltline. Extra custom equipment in the truck includes a 20-inch LED light bar, electrical adorned bed, grille with nickel accents, tow rings, and 20-inch aluminum mag wheels.

Carhartt specializes in functional work wear. Tony Ambroza, Senior Vice President for Carhartt's marketing department, said: "Our brands would equal the ultimate truck for anyone who works and plays in the rugged outdoors." The 2500 Carhartt concept will include 20 Chevrolet custom cars.

SEMA will be held in Las Vegas, from Nov. 1 to 3.
