It has been nearly 25 years since the Jeep Wagoneer died in 1991. Jeep has not produced any top of the line luxury cars. The Grand Cherokee might be a great car but it is not comparable to other high-end luxury SUV's. It is a good thing that Jeep finally decided to be back on track, as enthusiasts should be expecting an all new SUV this coming 2019 or so.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer will be the top of Jeep line-up. The Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer will be produced and built on the same next-generation platform of Grand Cherokee, but there will be a few adjustments.

The Wagoneer is a legendary name in history, the tip of the sundae of the Jeep Universe. The Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer will be two separate vehicles, instead of an alternative collection added to the Grand Cherokee, according to Road and Track.

Unfortunately, for those who are anticipating for the comeback of the hunky wood-sided wagon, just like the one release in 1984, it will not be possible. But one thing is for sure, the Wagoneer is definitely making a comeback.

Why Wait for The Wagoneer?

The Jeep brand is nonetheless a high-end manufacturer, known to be above standard in quality and design, according to TopSpeed. The Jeep Wagoneer will most likely have a high-tech perk, such as a large thin film transistor, large LCD touch screen with a navigational system.

The car has been rumored to have massaging seats with leather covers, entertainment system to boost, a huge panoramic sunroof, double screen that is fitted in the headrest of the back seat. It is already given that the materials that will be used for the interior will be wood and aluminum, to give it a sharper and beautiful look. The car can accommodate at least seven adults.

It is also anticipated that the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer will have a mighty engine, that will run on 6.4 liter V8 HEMI that will be competent enough to create a 485 horsepower and 475 pounds per foot torque. For a much higher horsepower, there is the SUV that comes with a 600 horsepower on a 6.2-liter Hellcat engine and 550 pounds per foot torque.
