The Cadillac 2017 Escala now sports squinty head lights. There are no drastic design changes, however, it still is a stand-out amongst other mini executive saloons.

What is to expect from the Cadillac 2017 Escala?

It is not your typical concept car. Though it looks like your usual conventional sedan, it still is a head-turner with its looks. However, its new design sort of emulates Jaguar's 2017 XE.

It has debuted last August in Pebble Beach, Concours d'Elegance. It is intended to compete with other fellow luxury automotive brands such as Mercedes-Benz, with its S-class and the 7 series from BMW.

What is the specifications and engine range the 2017 Cadillac Escala?

The Cadillac 2017 Escala concept car comes with a seventy-six inch-width or 1,948 millimeters. It comes with very generous dimensions. The length comes at around 210.5 in or 5,347 millimeters. This makes it the biggest coupe under the Cadillac's line. This is just apt as for 'Escala' a Spanish word means "scale."

It carries a 4.2 L twin-turbo V8 engine. This makes the Escala more powerful than its brother the CT6. The latter only has 404 hp and a 3 L twin-turbo V6 engine.

How fast can the Cadillac 2017 Escala concept accelerate?

The Escala concept car is expected to have a top speed of around 300 kph, with a power 500 hp. It can accelerate from zero to 100 kph or 0-62 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

Now many can't help but notice it's uncanny new design of the 2017 Cadillac Escala's resemblance to the 2017 Jaguar XE's headlights and silhouette. The Jaguar is a contender for as this year's best car under the compact executive saloon segment.

This puts the Cadillac 2017 Escala a step behind, the 2017 Jaguar's XE.
