Nico Rosberg dominates the Japanese F1 Grand Prix from start to finish and continue the woes of his teammate Lewis Hamilton as his lead widens to 33. While the two Mercedes Pilot battles it out, the team is the true winner as it achieved the Constructors Championship third time in a row.

Nico Rosberg Won Again, Hamilton Woes Continue

Rosberg won victory in the GP Japan 2016 and extends its advantage in command of the championship by 33 points. Rosberg has achieved his ninth win of the season with impeccable rhythm during the 43 laps that showed him using great strategies and no notable accident. The German pilot made a perfect start, in which nobody could overshadow him, not even his teammate Hamilton, who has made one of the worst outings of the season.

"I am aware that I have 33 points ahead, but I do not think about it, I face every race, as this weekend. I did my best to win the race and I got it," Rosberg said after his victory.

Hamilton has had an uphill battle after remaining stuck at the start, but has managed to climb to third place. This is a decent performance compare to his other races but still not enough to end his woes.

The Brit fell to eighth place to stay stuck on the grid. It was overtaken by India Force, by Red Bull and Ferrari. That of Mercedes has had to overcome to get to be placed on podium after beating Sebastian Vettel in the pit stops. The fight of Hamilton for second place in the race with Max Verstappen has been what has put the spice in the final laps and the younger racer won.

"I am very proud of the team for winning the constructor's title. Happy to be on the podium after how I started the race. I will fight hard to win the championship in the remaining races. I never give up," Hamilton said.

The Sensational Max Verstappen

The second place went to the sensational Max Verstappen. All those who said that the boy was a smokescreen, a pilot product marketing, have definitely quiet this year. He is an exceptional driver and he had proven this on the last two race. He put up with ten laps to Lewis Hamilton at Suzuka which is not easy and has done so masterfully, without committing the slightest error, without wrinkling and optimizing the performance.

"We've had a lot of traffic in the closing laps throughout the weekend we have done a good strategy, of course, I am very grateful to be in second place and being able to fight the Mercedes team at the end. Hamilton has tightened a lot and I'm glad I kept the position." Verstappen said.

Mercedes Won Constructors Title Third Time In A Row

With the victory of Rosberg and Hamilton placing third in the Japanese Grand Prix, Mercedes mathematically closed the constructors' championship for the third consecutive year.

The Germans had match point in the last race in Malaysia, but Hamilton didn't get the chance to finish the race and Red Bull's double forced team postpone the celebration for a week. This time, at the Suzuka circuit, Mercedes devoted themselves as champions of Formula 1 racing teams after the victory of Rosberg and Hamilton in third place.

So far this season, Mercedes has 15 wins in 17 races and score 593 points against the 385 units of Red Bull, who can no longer reach the German manufacturer. Thus, Mercedes won the Constructors' title for the third time in a row, making it the sixth most championships in the history of Formula 1, behind Ferrari (16), Williams (9), McLaren (8), Lotus (7) and Red Bull (4). Gone Cooper, Brabham and Renault, with two crowns.

Now the question is, which Mercedes pilot is better? Who will win the F1 championship? Although Rosberg has a lead of 33 points, four races remaining and 100 points at stakes so Lewis Hamilton can still catch up. Who will take that honor. We will wait and see.
