The launch of Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 was a huge success that tech enthusiasts had been dying to learn on updates of its successor - the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Unfortunately, there had been no official announcements on when it will be out but Surface Pro 5 rumors suggested that updates like its processor and display may be imminent.

Microsoft had been head to head against the MacBook Pro 2016 and iPad Pro 2 that the company allegedly wished to release the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 later this year, reported PC Tablet. To make the brand more competitive against its rivals, the new Surface Pro 5 was said to sport to a new and updated processor as well as improving the quality of its display.

Surface Pro 5 - The Upgrades

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to sport the all-new Kaby Lake processor by Intel, making the unit more integrated with the seventh-generation chipset technology. Although the said processor may only be completely produced later this year, rumors emerged, suggesting that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would wait for it to be released before it shows its skin.

Another update suggested an improvement on the Surface Pro 5's display. On top of better technological performance with respect to the speed of the processor with the Kaby Lake, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will also have a significantly better high-definition feature with a 4K display installed.

Surface Pro 5 - Release Date

In other reports, iTech Post revealed that the release date for the said unit may be as soon as later this year since the Kaby Lake processor by Intel is expected to complete production by this year. If time would be sufficient for the unit, the said processor could possibly be applied to the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 by the end of the year and, in return, could skyrocket sales for the product.

Furthermore, it was revealed that since Microsoft is set to launch an event this coming October. Thus, it may be revealed then that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be equipped with a newly updated Windows 10, the Kaby Lake processor by Intel, and an improved 4k display.
