General Motors announced on Tuesday that the 2017 Chevrolet Trax will have a ranging price of $21,895 up to $28,495, depending on the trim. Let us take a look at the major tweaks and see what the people should expect.

Coincides the announcement, the automakers decided to redesign the model to cater most of its female owners. According to M Live, 60% of the total number of the Chevvy owners are ladies.

As a result, the car company came up with the solution to redefine, refurbish, and add more style to the existing model. Meanwhile, the exterior, the front-fascia design, remains untouched.

On the other hand, the interior has a redesigned instrument panel. The car now has a 7-inch touchscreen display and chrome trim. A new gauge display was installed on the instrument cluster which also get a prominent analog speedometer and tachometer readouts, and not to mention the digital displays.

Furthermore, another exciting addition to the vehicle is the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with 4GLTE wireless connectivity. The new infotainment system now allows up to 7 personal devices to connect and sync.

As for the engine, the 2017 Chevrolet Trax still has the 1.4-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing up to 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque, paired to a six-speed, automatic transmission.

And since we mentioned the price range, the website noted that it depends on the trim. The subcompact SUV's North American line-up will include the LS, LT, and Premier trims. The price does not include outside fees such as delivery and add-ons.

Given these details, Car and Driver believe that the 2017 Chevrolet Trax could meet the expectations of the buyers. The car will arrive in dealerships this fall so expect that many would like to try the vehicle.
