Wearable technology is the newest way to never have to stop using the latest gadgets or services.

At the New York auto show this week, we witnessed the latest advancements that make it possible to remotely control cars from smart devices.

Today's tech addicts aren't satisfied to carry the world's knowledge in their pocket. Wristwatch computing is quickly gaining popularity, making controlling a car from a smartphone feel antiquated by comparison.

Hyundai's BlueLink system is now available for Android Wear, allowing owners to start the new Tucson from anywhere in the world with just a tap on the wrist. BlueLink for Android Wear can also remotely lock or unlock a vehicle, locate a lost vehicle or contact a BlueLink representative for concierge assistance -- without the hassle of pulling out a smartphone. While BlueLink is just one out-of-car app on the market today, it is one of few integrated with wearable technology.

We can't wait to see what our apparel will do for us next.
