Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling around 467,500 sport-utility vehicles worldwide that could have stalling engines.
A problem with the fuel pumps in Dodge Durango vehicles from model years 2012 and 2013 and the Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel versions from model year 2011 could stall the engines or not allow them to start, Reuters reported.
The recall, which affects Jeep Grand Cherokee models sold outside North America, involves 338,216 vehicles in the United States, 18,991 in Canada, 10,829 in Mexico and 99,444 in other markets.
FCA US is not aware of any accidents or injuries in connection with the issue.
The fuel-pump recall is related to a similar safety campaign from last fall in North America. In September, 230,760 Grand Cherokee and Durango SUVs from the 2011 model year were recalled for engines that could stall or not start; no collisions or injuries have been linked to that recall.
Also this week, Fiat Chrysler issued a recall for 26,000 Chrysler 200 vehicles that may not be able to shift into park.
Affecting vehicles from the 2015 model year, the recall will rectify manufacturing problems that may prevent the cars from shifting into park, an issue that has been reported by five Chrysler 200 owners, according to the Detroit News.
For the recall, which involves 22,107 vehicles in the U.S., 3,600 in Canada and 213 in Mexico, dealers will inspect the cars and replace the transmissions as needed.
Meantime, 2015 Chrysler 200 owners are advised to activate the parking brake before turning off the car's engine.
