Actor Kevin Spacey is lending his golden voice to the "Call of Duty" video game in the franchise's latest title.

The "House of Cards" star voices the villain in "Advanced Warfare," the latest Call of Duty installment set to launch in stores on Nov. 4, Rolling Stone reported.

An impressively lifelike CGI version of Space warns in the game's trailer, "Democracy is not what these people need. Hell, it's not even what they want!"

Advanced Warfare seems to be playing into the political intrigue the 54-year-old actor is known for in his "House of Cards" role, pitting freedom against Spacey's dictator-like villain.

Appearing to portray the leader of a rogue military group, Spacey says in the trailer, "Ideas don't determine who's right--power determines who's right. And I have the power, so I'm right."

GameSpot had earlier reported that Spacey was likely portraying a featured character in the upcoming title.

Spacey is the second celebrity that Call of Duty has recently scored for the franchise. Rapper, singer and actor Snoop Dogg was a narrator in "Call of Duty: Ghosts."

The Advanced Warfare trailer featuring Spacey came after a slew of leaked looks at the game, a Forbes contributor reported.

The new title is especially important to the Call of Duty franchise because it may stop a trend of slowing sales for the series, wrote Forbes' Paul Tassi.

While Call of Duty games always enjoy strong sales, the franchise seems to have peaked in 2011 with "Modern Warfare 3," each subsequent title selling fewer copies since then.
