Samsung all but confirmed in a new teaser trailer published this week that its latest smartphone device will debut next week at the Mobile World Congress.

The movie preview-inspired video is properly called "Samsung Unpacked," and can be found on Samsung's YouTube page or at the bottom of this article.

Samsung has yet to officially announce that its next smartphone device will debut at the Mobile World Congress next week.

Despite the fact that the Korean-based company has yet to announce the debut of its next Galaxy, the video backs up a story written by the New York Times claiming the device will be in Barcelona next week.

The video features a series of words and pictures like "connect," "victory," and "create," all accompanied by the number 5 after it.

The video has over 276,000 views so far and 3,300 likes.

The device is expected to be flatter, waterproof, include fingerprint scanning, and improved camera, higher-performance processor, new icons, and will likely have at least a 5.2-inch display.

The device probably won't come with iris-scanning technology however, according to Sammobile.

Samsung's current phone, the Galaxy 4, was unveiled at a big event last year at Radio City Music Hall, in New York City. The S5's unveiling is expected to be a little more low-key, according to CNET.com.

The MWC event is scheduled to take place on Feb. 24, so make sure to check back once the device is officially unveiled.
