Tesla Model 3 has been announced to roll off the production floor this Friday. Thirty units will be out on July 28, while the balance of the 380,000 pre-bookings will all be out by next year, at a rate of 20,000 units/month. However, some people find the forecast to be ambitious.

Tesla chief executive Elon Musk took to his official Twitter account the much-awaited announcement that further hyped up those who have booked the new model in advance. According to Musk, the Tesla Model 3 will be completed by Friday.

Musk also mentioned that the new electric vehicle has already passed all the regulatory requirements for production. He even teased that they were two weeks ahead of target schedule.

In another tweet, the chief executive revealed the first release date will be on July 28. He detailed that the first 30 clients who have made the pre-booking for Model 3 will be the first batch to have the chance to drive their own units.

Furthermore, it seems that Tesla has high confidence on the production timetable. Musk also mentioned that "Production grows exponentially, so Aug. should be 100 cars and Sept. above 1500."

On the third tweet, Musk boasts that monthly production output will greatly increase by the end of the year. He noted that they can release 20,000 units/month of Model 3 from December and onwards.

Some car analysts have doubted the assembly line output forecast announced by Musk. It seems too good to be true to be able to blow up the output figures, considering the previous production setbacks Tesla has encountered for the current Model X and S. Unfortunately, the company had terrible production shortfall at its battery factory in Nevada.

However, it seems that the company has already resolved issues and prepared for a better production process. Tesla chief technology officer J.B. Straubel claimed, "We've really learned a lot of lessons," referring to the complicated production of Model X car.

As of last year, Tesla has reported 380,000 pre-bookings for the upcoming Model 3. Each pre-booking required a refundable $1,000 deposit for the new electric vehicle.

What do you think of the 20,000 units/month output for Tesla Model 3 beginning in December? Do you think it is possible?
