All cars go through a series of evolution, just like anything on earth. The 2018 BMW M5 is not an exception. The new M5 is considered bigger and better in most aspects. Will this do wonders for BMW?

The 2018 BMW M5 is BMW's sixth-generation as it gains all-wheel-drive and eight-speed automatic as the standard and only transmission. In spite of this, the M5 is lighter and more intuitive. Right, BMW may have gone bigger with the M5 but it still follows the norm of cars today — to go lighter.

Going lighter is one of the best things to happen in any vehicle belonging to any segment. Shedding off extra pounds make the vehicle agiler and delivers better performance altogether. This is the case for the latest M5.

It does have more electronics known to be even smarter than before as it comes with what BMW calls Central Intelligence Unit. It runs the M-tuned software that enables exceptional control including a DSC-off, RWD-only mode, which is simple to use.

The 2018 BMW M5 is powered by 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine. This is capable of producing 550 pound-feet of torque. This is some serious power for a serious looking sedan. it may not readily be described as athletic or sharp, but its classic and somehow understated look can be deceiving.

The 2018 BMW M5 has been previewed in the new "Need for Speed" title. As one zooms in to look a closer look, it reveals that the new BMW is the one being featured. The M5 being part of "Need for Speed" is somehow expected as well as the car has been part of the franchise for several years.

The 2018 BMW M5 is definitely getting all the press that it needs. As it is also part of the famous "Need for Speed" franchise, all eyes are definitely on this new BMW wonder. It is sure to continue the legacy that BMW has started.
