2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro: Extreme For Its Host Of Enhancements!

The 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is even more extreme. Off-roading enthusiasts are sure to have the excitement they require for such a capable SUV. It has been rated as one of the best and it is expected to continue the 4Runner's legacy.

The 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is extreme for a host of enhancements. It comes with upgraded offroad springs, shocks, tires and even an additional skid plate. This makes it one powerful and impressive vehicle to take on any terrain.

To up the ante all the more, its Bilstein shocks that have remote reservoirs, Nitto all-terrain tires, TRD front springs, exclusive wheels, and TRD trim and badging make it an off-roader monster. It also comes with the 4WD option. It has been subjected to the most challenging and harshest of terrains and it did perform its most excellent!

The 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is powered by a 4.0-liter V-6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. The TRD Pro gets a part-time system with a manual transfer case. Derek McNaughton of Driving even went ahead by saying that he does not like the TRD Pro, he loves it! He then continued that he adores the TRD Pro more than his Limited primarily because of how it rides.

Again, this is particularly because of the Bilstein shocks and remote reservoirs as earlier reported. The Limited is a more serious type, while Pro is more fun. It is a serious hauling machine as it has a towing capacity of 5,000-pounds.

The 4Runner measures 15.9-feet long and weighs 4,750-pounds. This adds to the extreme performance of this SUV. Ground clearance does contribute to its insane outdoor performance. Its 9.6-inches ground clearance somehow makes it semi-amphibious. Not only can it glide on any rough terrain, shallow streams and good-sized puddles are no match to the 4Runner as well.

The 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is one mean machine. Several times, it has been compared against the Wrangler. Both have its unique selling proposition, however, the 4Runner considerably leads in various aspects.
