The 2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk has significantly improved. The manufacturer has done a good job in the crossover's overall performance. However, it has not reached its ultimate level of greatness, according to experts.

The 2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is reviewed to lack refinement. It comes with a cheap interior as well. For the extra-critical buyer, this should come as a disappointment. However, for those who casually shop around for a different crossover, the Compass Trailhawk is not bad of an option.

It took a decade before the second-generation Compass to arrive. Is it all worth the wait? Well, it depends on who is looking at it. It has its fair share of critics and fans as well. At this point, any feedback is all too important.

Road Show by CNET for one rates the 2017 Jeep Compass an overall 7.8 out of 10 points. This is not bad of a score though other crossovers rate higher. Its design got the highest for having 8.3 points. All else are rated an 8 and 7.5 for performance, features, and media and connectivity.

The folks at the site think that the Trailhawk's off-roading capabilities are better than anything in its class. Well, all Jeeps are known for this. It may not come as powerful and capable as the Jeep Wrangler but the Compass Trailhawk easily outperforms other crossovers.

It has a total of 8.5-inches ground clearance, which is half an inch more than the standard Compass with four-wheel drive and full inch more than the front-wheel-drive Compass. It offers adequate power because of its nine-speed automatic. Its suspensions deal with road imperfections and terrain.

Well, its acceleration may need more push and improvement. Industry experts also want to see more safety features. The 2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk doesn't rate well in terms of passenger and cargo space. However, if one is into serious off-roading activities, this is the crossover to consider.
