Many people who are dreaming of driving an electric car now has a chance to turn their dreams into reality with the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt. This all-electric vehicle received numerous awards from car reviewers for its awesome specs, features, and for being a green car.

At a price range of $30,000 after federal discounts speaks volume on its affordability. No wonder Tesla opted to make an affordable electric car like the Tesla Model 3 to match the popularity the Chevrolet Bolt received.

Easy Charging. The 2017 Chevrolet Volt is considered as the car of the current generation. The most striking difference from this vehicle from the past is that it does not need a drop of gasoline for it to function. The car is electric and you can charge it like the way you charge your cell phone but with a bigger and heavier plug.

In addition, it can travel 383 km on just one full charge. This means you can travel short distances like going to school and work for almost a week without thinking of charging your car.

Safety. The car is also manufactured with so much promise. Priority was given to make sure passengers are safe and comfortable.

Some of its safety features include forward collision alerts, rear cross traffic alerts, side blind zone alerts and lane departure warnings. It has even rear cameras mirror for an all-around driving visibility. In addition, 10 airbags were installed all around the interior to prevent traumatic injury in case of a crash.

Power. When the average motorist thinks of horsepower, the first thing that enters their mind is a gasoline or a diesel fed engine motor. The 2017 Chevrolet Volt EV will give ordinary engines a run for their money. Its motor will deliver 200 HP of force to run the car. That power will be delivered to its two front wheels for ease of handling. Acceleration to 60 mph is about 6.5 seconds only. It is going to give 238 miles of driving on a single full charge. Also, it has a braking system that will even extend that range way over your expectation.
